Barbecued Plum Kabobs with Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients:

  • 10 Slightly firm red plums
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

  • Preheat outdoor barbecue, or use indoor grilling pan on the stovetop.
  • Skewer 3 plum halves.
  • Drizzle with the olive oil, placing cut side down first. 
  • Grill 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Plate on a platter and serve with alongside your favorite BBQ entree, or use individually on dessert plates accompanied with vanilla ice cream.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze over plums.
